Exchange your home

One of the options available to people who want to move is to swap their home with someone else. This is known as a mutual exchange.

Tenants can register their interest in a mutual exchange with us. If the tenant's criteria match those of someone else looking to move, then an exchange may be possible.

A mutual exchange can take place between two Saxon Weald tenants or with a tenant from another housing association. If you want to apply for an exchange to another Saxon Weald property you will need an application pack. Call us on 01403 226144 or email:

To exchange with a tenant from another housing association, you will need to register your interest with Homeswapper. This is a free service. To register, log onto:

You can view all potential mutual exchange partners using our online search facility or you can visit the kiosk in the reception area of our Horsham office.

Once you have found someone with whom you would like to exchange, you should arrange to view the property and invite the tenant to see your home. If you both decide that the exchange is suitable, you can apply for a mutual exchange. To do this, contact our lettings department on 01403 226143.
