The RAP is made up of
residents selected by our Service Interest Groups, along with
residents co-opted for the skills they bring to the
group. Our four Tenant Board Members also sit on the RAP.
The purpose of the RAP is to be recognised and accepted as the
main representative and consultative body for issues affecting
residents of Saxon Weald.
The aims of the RAP are to:
• Be independent and resident led, with a mandate to represent
the views and interests of Saxon Weald’s residents - a direct
voice and serious recognition.
• Be involved in and consulted on all things that matter to or
affect Saxon Weald residents, ensuring that they get a fair
deal, with their views listened to and acted on.
• Help improve Saxon Weald’s performance and make the
association accountable to its residents.
• Work in partnership with Saxon Weald to ensure that resident
involvement is accepted as an integral and valued part of its
work.
• Be involved in national, regional and local activities and
consultations.
• Become a knowledgeable, effective and respected group.
• Be recognised as an active, powerful and influential
representative body.
