Multi-Skills Operative – plumbing bias
Temporary role – approximately 6 months
45 hours per week, salary circa £21,000 pro-rata + £1,000 per annum Vehicle Responsibility Allowance, 27 days holiday, health care option and final salary pension


We are looking for a Multi-Skills Operative to join HomeFix, our in-house repairs service.

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

• be multi-skilled, with experience working on a wide variety of tasks including general drill and fix tasks, patch plastering, flooring, tiling and general maintenance

 
• have specific experience or a qualification in plumbing and be able to carry out kitchen and bathroom repairs and installations


• be willing to develop your skills to increase your ability to do additional repairs and tasks


• be able to provide excellent customer service

You will be working on our properties located primarily in Southampton and the surrounding area. A HomeFix vehicle will be provided. It is essential that you possess a current driving licence and if required, be part of a standby rota for which you will receive additional payment.

A Cook is required to prepare & serve a two-course midday lunch at the weekend for residents at Page Court retirement housing scheme in Horsham, West Sussex.

 

The hours of work are Saturday and Sunday, 9.30am - 1.30pm, 4 hours per day at £11.90 per hour.

Clerk of Works 
Salary band: £23,209 (£26,262) £29,316 + 10% car allowance, final salary pension scheme, health care provision, 27 days annual leave and performance related pay

We have an extensive programme of development schemes in the pipeline and have expanded our development team.

The increase in building capacity provides an ideal opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to join our team.

You will be responsible for monitoring the quality and progress of works undertaken by contractors on our development schemes, to ensure we achieve the highest standards in the homes we build.

You will have experience of overseeing residential construction works on site, managing contractor relationships, and have a sound knowledge of construction methods.

Your strengths will include health & safety expertise, the ability to give technical and practical advice and to provide regular progress reports.
